Rena Laverty Photography and Design is a photography and design company that specializes in photographing people in active and story telling moments for editorial and personal engagements.

Based in Southeast Michigan, Rena Laverty Photography and Design is owned and operated by Rena Laverty. Rena has over 20 year’s experience in consistently producing high-quality, creative imagery and designs.

Rena received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Animation and Digital Media from the College for Creative Studies with a concentration in traditional animation. Rena's background in animation enables her to have a keen trained eye for anticipation, motion and emotion, which translates to her ability to capture decisive moments at they unfold.

Photography assignments include both professional and collegiate events, portraitures, corporate/personal engagements and editorial assignments.

Rena has had the opportunity to cover a variety of major athletic events including the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey Tournament, NHL Entry Draft, Ontario Hockey League Championship Series and IIHF Womens World Championships, NFL Draft and more.

Rena currently serves as the official team photographer for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program in Plymouth, Michigan.
